On Nov. 16, 2021, the Wall Street Journal published a bombshell report about widespread sexual misconduct at video game giant Activision Blizzard. The report alleged that, for years, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick knew of such incidents — some of which included rape — and failed to report them to his company’s board.
Then came another stirring allegation. As Business Insider wrote, “In 2006, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick reportedly left his assistant a voicemail threatening to have her killed.”
Today is Jan. 5, 2022. Somehow, Bobby Kotick still has his job as CEO of Activision Blizzard.
This post kicks off a recurring series that will appear every Wednesday. Each new entry will largely serve the same purpose. It’ll act as a reminder of that Wall Street Journal report and it’ll let the world know that Bobby Kotick has yet to suffer a consequence.
The series will conclude when Bobby Kotick either resigns from his position or is fired. As long as it’s running, you’ll find no new articles on this website covering Activision Blizzard games past or present.
