As anyone who knows me can attest, I love the Bows in Destiny 2. I always have one on me. Bows are my go-to. I will not — repeat — will not shut up about Subtle Calamity and how it was wronged by sunsetting. I just won’t do it. I will, however, tell you how to get Hush in Destiny 2. It is, no surprise, a Bow. And it’s one you’ll want (at least for the purposes of collecting).

How to get Hush in Destiny 2

First, though, I must tell you about the origins of Hush.

Hush was once a Gambit Pinnacle weapon

Gambit is a Destiny activity that traces its routes back to the Forsaken expansion. It is essentially a proving grounds for those who want to test their might against AI combatants while also occasionally dealing with a human opponent.

Gambit once had some boss weapons, such as Hush, a Pinnacle reward. Occasionally, new ones pop up. But it has been a while since we’ve had real and true bangers. It could just be that so few people even play Gambit anymore. What’s the point?

Anyway, a few seasons after Hush showed up, sunsetting occurred, and that ultimately capped its power for good. Now that there’s no reason to get it as a reward (since it can’t be infused), you can no longer earn it through a Gambit quest.

There is still a way to get it, though.

Hush can be purchased in the Tower

Monument to Lost Lights

Get to know the Monument to Lost Lights, folks. It’s the kiosk in the Tower that stores weapons once dropped in the game that no longer have sources. Hush is one, and you can buy it at the Monument if you have the right materials available. With that, here’s what you’ll need:

Once you have all that, just open up the Monument and head to the “Legacy Gear” section. Under “Gambit Weapons,” you’ll find Hush waiting in the third slot. Go ahead and buy that Bow.

And that’s how to get Hush in Destiny 2

To be perfectly frank, I don’t know the last time I used Hush. There are better Bow options out there now and using them means you don’t have to sacrifice your Power Level.

Still, if you are someone who is trying to nab every gun in the game to add to your Collections, getting it doesn’t hurt. Now you know how to do that. So go for it and cross your fingers that, someday soon, we get more Legendary Bow options.
