Back in the day, though? Fabled felt impossible for many. I recall using a Google Docs spreadsheet to calculate how many more consecutive wins I’d need to hit the rank. Every loss felt like a huge blow to your chances. It was that kind of chase. Stressful.

The bad news: Luna’s Howl got caught in the Sunsetting apocalypse, so it cannot be infused up to meet today’s Power Level requirements. The good news, though? It’s much easier to get. Here’s why.

Luna’s Howl can be purchased in the Tower

The steps for how to get Luna’s Howl in Destiny 2 today are simple: all you need to do is visit the Tower and hit up the Monument to Lost Lights. If you’re not familiar with that, it’s the kiosk near the Vault with the Guardians on it.

In order to get Luna’s Howl, you will need some resources in your inventory. There are as follows:

• 75,000 Glimmer
• 100 Legendary Shards
• Two Enhancement Prisms
• One Ascendant Shard

Once you have all of that, open the Monument, navigate to the section labeled “Legacy Gear.” Once you’re there, you’ll find Luna’s Howl sitting in the first slot of the second row, which is called “Crucible Weapons.”
