What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage works in a similar way but stays on your device. We keep both to a minimum.
Strictly necessary
- cuc_sid: keeps you signed in after you sign in. It can't be read by scripts on the page and is deleted when you close your browser.
- cuc_pending: only set while you finish signing up with Google, and deleted after 15 minutes or when you finish.
- cuc_age: remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over and in the UK, for 30 days.
These are needed for the website to work, so they don't need your consent.
Browser storage
- cuc_age_ok: remembers your age confirmation so we don't ask on every page.
- cuc_cookies: remembers your cookie choice.
- cuc_recent: remembers the last few games you opened on this device.
These stay on your device and aren't sent to us.
Other services
- Google sign-in: if you use it, Google may set its own cookies to show the sign-in button and complete the sign-in.
- Fonts: our fonts are stored on our own server, so loading them doesn't involve any other company.
- Our games: games may save progress or settings in your browser while you play.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change your choice. You can also clear cookies and storage in your browser settings, though you'll be signed out and asked to confirm your age again.
